Aftercare

Our aftercare service is available at an additional cost until late in the afternoon. Learners are accommodated in safe classrooms and playgrounds, and the fees include lunch, supervision and limited homework support.

School transport

Our school transport service is available for learners from Grade 1 at an additional cost, as stipulated on our fees letter. The service has drop-off and pickup points in Swakopmund and Langstrand.

Modern classrooms

As part of the Curro school group, we created a safe, modern environment where learners can grow used to learning and working with modern equipment and facilities. As part of our commitment to giving your child the excellent Curro education, our classrooms are designed for good concentration and for learners to interact with the material they are learning.

We have the following specialised classrooms across our campus:

Sports facilities

Our focused variety of sports and cultural activities are hosted on well-kept courts and fields – all part of our commitment to providing learners with a balanced education.

Our activity facilities include the following:

• Baseball court
• Netball courts
• Volleyball court
• Rugby/Soccer field with cricket pitch and athletics track

Arrange a tour

Walvis Bay Gymnasium has a primary school in Erongo region, Namibia. We provide an excellent education to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7. This means that your child receivesan all-round education that balances academics with sports and cultural activities. Teaching takes place in English and Afrikaans, we limit our class sizes to make sure learners get personal attention, and they benefit from having Robotics as a subject. We also form part of the Curro school group, have aftercare and a school transport service, and we close earlier on Fridays so that you can enjoy your weekend.
