We are open during holidays

As a preschool in Northriding, Randburg, we understand that working parents don’t get school holidays, which might pose a challenge when children are at home. That is why our preschool remains open during school holidays with a full holiday-care programme at no additional cost. Early childhood development activities continue, although we may arrange some extra fun activities during this time. We are closed only for a specified period during December and January.

All-inclusive school fees

Our school fees include meals, bottles, and formula. This means that all you need to pack are diapers, wet wipes, bum cream, and a change of clothes. Meals are freshly prepared in our on-site kitchen and are delivered to class in time for snack time or meal time. We also carefully accommodate allergies and other dietary requirements so that your child can enjoy all their meals.

Teachers have assistants

Our classes are divided by age and each teacher has one or more assistants in each class, depending on the group and the number of children in the class. This ensures that each child gets the care and attention they need, and that they can optimally benefit from our preschool programme. There are often more assistants for the younger ones and babies, as they have needs that are unique from any other age groups.

Registered on-site nurse and staff with first-aid training

Children wholeheartedly run, play, climb, and jump, which may sometimes lead to minor bumps and bruises. This is why we have a registered on-site nurse on designated days – and all our teachers are trained in first aid.

National regulations prohibit teachers from dispensing any medicine, even with a prescription signed by a medical doctor. If your child has a chronic condition, or if you have any questions around dispensing medicine, please contact reception so that they can direct your query.

Indoor and outdoor play areas

Children learn by interacting with the world around them. That is why our preschool classrooms themselves are considered to be inanimate teachers of sorts. They are designed to allow maximum room for play and movement while being stimulating on a visual and tactile level. By involving the classroom in the learning experience, your child is engaged in early childhood development even when simply enjoying some lounge time with their friends.

Each age group has its own outdoor play area designed to encourage physical play. Our babies (Group 1) have a separate garden with an AstroTurf where they can enjoy the various activities we offer, while children in Groups 2 to 5 each have respective play areas with beautiful equipment to stimulate early childhood development. We also a two heated swimming pool.
