Curro's 2024 NSC Matric Results

Curro has announced the remarkable achievements of its National Senior Certificate (NSC) matriculants for 2024, with a strong 95.49% pass rate. Representing Curro’s largest NSC group yet, 2,217 learners from campuses nationwide showcased years of preparation in this significant milestone.

Six Curro schools achieved a 100% pass rate, including Curro Clayville, Curro Karino, Curro Mahikeng, Northriding College, Curro Sandown, and Curro Uitzicht. Curro Uitzicht, an assisted learning school in the Western Cape, focuses on small classes, a supportive environment, and on-site support centre facilities, exemplifying Curro’s commitment to tailored education.

Curro’s largest NSC matric group yet

Curro CEO Cobus Loubser shared his pride in the learners' accomplishments. ‘I congratulate all our talented learners on yet another outstanding matric performance. Today is the culmination of several years of hard work and dedication and wouldn’t be possible without the support of parents and family. The future holds great promise for our learners, and we believe all our matriculants will continue to achieve remarkable feats.’

Cobus also acknowledged the tireless efforts of Curro’s teachers, attributing the results to their guidance and inspiration. ‘As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. This is true of all our teachers who contributed to the learners’ success, from the early stages right to matric.’

Excellence across the board

This year’s exceptional NSC results come on the heels of Curro’s impressive Independent Examinations Board (IEB) achievements, where learners earned a 99% pass rate. Together, these results highlight the excellence being achieved across all academic streams within the Curro group.
