Seme Yeh

St Dominics Newcastle, Seme Yeh, alumni, Curro, asian woman, black hair

From a not-so-well-behaved high school learner to a pretty awesome teacher who helps her learners overcome adversities, Chin Ju Yeh (better known as Seme Yeh) has come a long way … and she credits her experience and teachers at St Dominics Newcastle for her growth as a person. 😊

‘I matriculated in 2015 and admit that I was not the most well-behaved learner… but now I have become a whole different person. I am a qualified intermediate phase teacher and I am working at a school in Cape Town which was announced as being in the top 3 of the category Overcoming Adversity in the World's Best School competition. I would like to thank each and every individual who helped me to become the person I am today. I have chosen to become a teacher because of the amazing teachers who taught me. I want to leave my mark, a good one.’

Thank you for sharing your story with us, Seme, and well done to the staff at St Dominics Newcastle. We are so proud to have you as part of the Curro family.
