When Mathew’s plan to study medicine in South Africa did not work out because he was not accepted, he did not give up on his dreams. Instead, he decided to follow a university friend to Russia to study at the Kursk Sate Medical University. Mathew has only one and a half years left until he graduates and he plans to practise medicine in the UK.
