Curro Delft teacher inspires a whole neighbourhood
11 October 2021Great excitement reigned at Curro Delft recently when the popular SABC TV show, Insider SA, spent some time at the school to film an insert on ‘a day in the life of’ Hopolang Lekhetha, one of the school’s mathematics teachers.
Lekhetha is one of many local teachers who participated in the Capitec Foundation’s Maths Tutoring Programme, an initiative that aims to improve maths performance to enable access to STEM-related careers beyond high school for South Africa’s youth.
