Curro Somerset West Soccer learners represent at SASCFA

During the school holidays, learners from Curro Somerset West embarked on a tour to Durban with the Northern District Schools Football team to compete in the South African Schools Combined Football Association Festival (SASCFA). The learners were selected to represent and play in the Western Province A and B teams.

The Western Province A team was led by Curro Somerset West learner, Nicholas Fillis as captain and coach Alcardo van Graan as head coach. The team placed second in the tournament and the B team placed third. Nicholas was also awarded top scorer in the A team with 3 goals.
