The School Marketer is responsible for actively recruiting new students into the school/s in line with the overall sales and marketing strategy, by achieving sales and enrolment targets.



Principal Accountabilities

Market research conducted and reported

·         In conjunction with the Sales & Enrolment Manager as appropriate

·         In line with overall standards and strategy

·         Reports/statistics generated and delivered within deadline

·         In required format

·         Surveys conducted as required (service excellence and employee satisfaction)

Leads generated

·         Devise and action appropriate activities (campaigns) in line with overall strategy

·         Leads converted to sales in line with targets

·         Recorded and analysed

·         Professional image maintained

·         Proactive and professional

·         Communications with stakeholders actioned daily / as required

·         Community involved and mobilised as required in terms of strategy

Promotional events coordinated

·         Appropriate events arranged and coordinated as required

·         In line with strategy and project plan/s

·         Within budget

·         Targets achieved as agreed

Sales and Enrolments managed

·         Enrolment targets achieved

·         Stakeholder communication managed on an ongoing basis

·         Proactive management of enrolments

·         Applications reviewed and approved Interviews conducted in terms of requirements

·         Feedback provided within agreed timelines

·         National Sales Manager consulted as and when necessary

·         Brand integrity maintained

New learners inducted

·         Induction programme coordinated

·         Feedback provided

·         Professional and proactive

·         In line with agreed timelines

Measurements/Metrics reported

·         Metrics (dashboard/scorecard) available

·         Accurate and entered into relevant databases

·         In line with project deadlines


Materials (Publications) deployed

·         In line with overall marketing strategy

·         New materials for schools are packaged and deployed in line with strategy

·         Consistent approach maintained

·         Correct and relevant information is used

Brand management (Corporate Identity)

·         Correct use of CI

·         As per guidelines issued from Marketing & Media Manager

·         Current and relevant

·         Brand audits conducted in line with specification and standards

Marketing initiatives supported

·         As per event requirements

·         Within budget

·         Maximum PR coverage achieved

·         Feedback provided to Marketing Manager


Online presence managed

·         Social media monitored and managed as required

·         Website maintained and updated in line with agreed communications strategy
